New Trichotillomania Group Forming In Mercer CTY/Central NJ

Looking for women of all ages to participate in a self-led support group. I recently moved from the Boston area, where I was in a support group for fifteen years. The group was immeasurably helpful to me on many levels, and gave all members the rare and wonderful opportunity to help each other live with this challenging disorder. I can’t overestimate the benefits of peer support and the freedom to discuss personal issues with women who share them. Please contact me at mercertrich@yahoo.com.

Young Adults OCD Peer Support Group

This is an open casual semi-structured peer-led support group for young adults with OCD. The main purpose of this group is to help others gain insight from those who have had similar shared experiences, communicate resources, offer support, and also to just socialize and make new friends. According to the World Health Organization, “Peer support is generally understood to be a relationship of mutual support where people with similar life experiences offer each other support, especially as they move through difficult or challenging experiences.”
