One Million Steps for OCD Walk

One Million Steps for OCD Walk
Sunday, June 2, 2024
Oak Ridge Park, Clark, NJ
Registration Opens at 9am

East Brunswick – OCD New Jersey, an Affiliate of the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation, will host a One Million Steps 4 OCD Walk on June 2, 2024, at Oak Ridge Park, 136 Oak Ridge Road in Clark, NJ. Our goal is to raise awareness about obsessive compulsive disorder and that there is help available for those who need professional care.

Although OCD is conceptualized as an individual disorder, its impact on interpersonal relationships is considerable. Patients may experience difficulties with cultivating fulfilling connections and sustaining them over time (Abramowitz et al, 2013; Borda et al, 2013; Less et al, 2015). To join us on June 2, please register at https://support.iocdf.org/event/clark-nj-ocd-walk/e571541.

OCD New Jersey is committed to educating the community about obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), offering support to sufferers and their families, and supporting research. OCD New Jersey hosts free events throughout the year that are open to anyone who wants to learn more about OCD.

The One Million Steps for OCD Walk is a place where we can use our voices to share our stories in an effort to fight stigma, raise awareness, and educate our communities about what it really means to have OCD. The OCD Walk is also a fundraising opportunity to support the important work of the IOCDF and its many amazing Affiliates.
