OCD New Jersey hosted a virtual documentary screening on Monday, October 13, 2025, as part of the Internation OCD Foundation’s OCD Awareness Week. The documentary, Anxiety Club, follows several comedians on their journey with anxiety disorders. Tiffany Jenkins, a comedian and author with millions of followers, undergoes exposure therapy in the film. Viewers watched her sessions and observed her significant ERP efforts to decrease her anxiety symptoms and ritualistic behaviors. Tiffany and other comedians including Joe List, Marc Maron, Aparna Nancherla, Mark Normand, Baron Vaughn, and Eva Victor offered candid reflections on their relationship with anxiety through exclusive interviews, standup performances, meditation sessions, sketch videos and more.
Anxiety Club provided a humorous, heartfelt and poignant look at anxiety through the comedians’ perspective. The documentary was resoundingly well received by the well-attended audience. Following the film, there was a live Q&A featuring the documentary director and Emmy-award winning producer, Wendy Lobel. The Q&A was moderated by OCD New Jersey President Dr. Jordan Levy. Wendy answered questions related to lessons learned from the film, the making of the film, why it’s important to look at OCD and anxiety through a humorous lens and the critical role that family, spouses and community play in recovery from OCD.
